About The Manufacturer:

The All-Steel Equipment Company was founded in 1912 in Aurora, Illinois. Initially known as the “Allsteelequip Company”, In 1929 the company changed its name to the “All-Steel-Equip Company”. In 1947 All-Steel equipment started it’s steel office desk line which is a true tanker desk with rubber bumpers around the edging of the top. By 1966 ASE was the world’s third-largest producer of steel office furniture. In 1967 All-Steel pioneered the lateral file. Today, All Steel Euipment has merged with HON industries where the Tanker desks are no longer made. They have rubber bumpers that cannot be replaced. We can paint them, or leave them "as is".
